Since I've been totally in control of what I'm eating since moving out to Arizona, I've tried some really great recipes that I've fallen in love with! Here is a round up of some of my favourite. I hope you try them and fall in love with them too! You can click the headings or the subtitle of each dish to be redirected to the blog for the recipe! I give full credit to the creators of these amazing recipes for making my meals this semester that much better!
The sexiest night on television was last night, December 9th, when CBS aired this years Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. It's also one of the most controversial night's on television as a lot of people weigh in on the Angels and show itself! Personally, I love the show and think it's so much fun, but I do understand a lot of the controversy and you can read more of my opinion, and see some GORGEOUS pictures below! (I also use the word gorgeous loads - sorry!)
I was so fortunate to be picked as one of the Tone It Up Bikini Series 2014 Grand Prize winners. It's a day that I think I'll remember for the rest of my life. It was about a week before I made the move to the US so I had decided to 'disconnect' for a few hours and spend time with my family so when I went and eventually checked my phone again, it had gone crazy! I had so many notifications and going through them all felt like a dream. I have followed Tone It Up since the beginning so to see my name up there as a Grand Prize winner was something else.
I've been living in Arizona for almost 4 months now! I can't believe how quickly the time has gone. I was inspired over the weekend by the latest Tone It Up video about home decor and thought I would film my first video in a LONG time and show you how I've made my room my own out here, whilst sticking to a pretty tight budget and trying to make it as homely as possible.
At the end of October I was lucky enough to celebrate my 21st birthday by spending the weekend in New York with an incredible group of women who I'm inspired to know through the Tone It Up community. I was apprehensive to be away from home for my birthday but my weekend could not have been better. Elle, Forde (Elle's impeccably behaved, adorable 6 month old son), Amberlea and I landed on the Thursday ready for a weekend of exploring.
Visiting New York has been a dream of mine since I was a little girl. And on the last weekend in October, it finally came true.
